Workshops


The Big Show Co. offers workshops for children, adults and professionals in Modern Dance Technique, Performance and "Scripting the Body." Modern Dance Technique includes elements of raw athleticism, jazz, martial arts, hip hop and character-driven movement phrases. Performance classes integrate improvisation, writing, visual art, solo and group work to generate conceptually sound choreography. "Scripting the Body" incorporates the simultaneous study of writing and movement and it has been a regular course offering at the National Dance Education Organization's annual conferences for the past two years.

In July 2001, The Big Show Co. toured Germany with workshops and performances in Freiburg, Endingen, Amoltern and Munich.
