5th Annual Commuter Festival

The Fifth Annual Commuter Dance Festival, presented by The Sharon Disney Lund School of Dance at CalArts, encourages the exchange of creative processes between the local educational and professional dance communities. Arianne MacBean presents We Can't Get There From Here with a new twist and performances by herself and Max Eugene.

Arianne MacBean, along with fellow CHIME grant recipients Emiko Sugiyama and Prumsodun Ok present work made during their year long mentorship exchange. CHIME is an innovative mentorship program for professional choreoraphers. Grants and cost-free studio time are given to artists interested in learning from one another. CHIME is a project of the Margaret Jenkins Dance Company with funding provided by The James Irvine Foundation and The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
