The Arianne MacBean Ballets [revisited]
Choreography by Arianne MacBean
Live Music by Ivan Johnson
MacBean returns to her 2000 signature work with a new perspective. This series of short "ballets" engage issues of ownership and performance. The Ballets expose the mechanisms working within the system of dance and the politics of the body. Featuring the virtuosic talent of Nicole Clarke with members of The Big Show Co., The Ballets examine the relationships between choreographer, performer, music, theater space, and audience. > More Info
